I help you identify your Core Values.
What is most important to you? Who do you serve with your business? What is the difference you want to make in this world? How you do know when you are succeeding?
I love to hear the answers to these questions, whether you are my client or not. If you are my client, we’ll use this information to brand you or your organization with an incredible logo that elegantly reflects what you do and helps you reach those you serve. I have several passions: Graphic Design, Reading, Writing, Teaching, Learning, Business, Leadership, Organizational Psychology, and LEAN. My career thus far has involved all of these to some degree. I grew up drawing, designing, and writing to create new worlds and concepts. If a video game includes a way to make your own maps, I quickly abandon the main game in favor of this more interesting “extra feature.” From 2005 to 2009 I honed my skills by attending the Art Institute of Tampa.
For the past decade I’ve worked at a school for kids with significant cognitive disabilities. I’m fascinated by the unique insights into the human experience one gets just from being in their presence. The school has become my home. I consider my co-workers like family.
Walking through the bookstore one afternoon, I discovered The Five Dysfunctions of a Team by Patrick Lencioni. I read the business fable in a weekend and have since read several more of his titles. I immediately applied the newfound knowledge to my work— including coaching high school soccer. The boys ate up the humble/hungry/smart model! I love the practical and easy-to-understand approach to building effective teams and ultimately creating an environment in which people love to work! I view this body of knowledge as a perfect marriage between intentional design and good ole’ fashioned hard-earned wisdom. The experience led me to pursue an MBA in Leadership & Organizational Health at the University of Saint Mary.
